Welcome to our Official Band WebsiteCome on in, explore our many mansions, our infinite incarnations & adventures in the ever expanding world of Solar Visions. Solar Visions came into being in early 2008 when Melanie & Jeff decided to record some of their songs using bass, guitar, vocals & virtual drummer, Eroll Browne. They were soon joined by Mark (ex-Transmit) on vocals & lead guitar. The trio began practicing as well as recording their new & established songs. Adverts were placed for a biological stickperson, which heralded the arrival of rookie beat keeper , Nick in the Autumn of that year. Now practicing at the Soundrooms & Noise Inc in Gateshead the new quartet were ready for the live circuit by the Spring on 2009. They attended a handful of buskers nights at The Sun in Swalwell & the popular Star Inn in Newcastle, where they were re-united with the friendly resident band that used to play at the Pelaw Inn during the Static Movements days. Amongst the songs that were aired during these shows saw Mark take the mic in his rampant "Touch Me Gently" , Jeff handling the vocals with the punky "Sack the Bored" & the ethereal rocking "An Open Door" & Melanie exercising her larynx with the breezy "Ray of Sunshine". With fatherhood blossoming for Nick again he quietly left the band in the Autumn, so the adverts were out again for his replacement. In the meanwhile Melanie, Mark & Jeff still meet to practice as well as produce new songs to share with you all in this new decade & beyond. Happy listening!
